As Mauell diversified its solution capabilities, the requirement to implement a comprehensive quality system became paramount. In 1999, Mauell embarked on implementing an ISO 9001:1994 registered quality system. (The endeavor required an extremely attentive approach to identifying daily processes and developing smart methods, to improving operations from purchase order complete through customer support after the install.) In December 1999, Mauell successfully passed its first ISO audit of Mauell's Quality Management System, including registering the system to ISO 9001:1994.

Upon passing subsequent audits, Mauell refined the Quality Management System by seeking registration to ISO 9001:2008. Mauell successfully obtained the registration on its first audit in June 2004. The significance of this achievement is a better customer experience. This is accomplished by the benefits of a Quality Management System that streamlines document flow, reduces quality errors during design and production; subsequently shortening manufacturing cycles, customer service action plans, etc...

Mauell’s commitment to quality assurance is evident in the materials it chooses as well as the internal testing it performs. Due to the heightened level of stress within the control room environment, equipment must be both durable and adaptable to the everchanging human interface. Special attention to the details and ergonomics is critical to the finished piece. Simulators that are retrofitted must mimic its predecessor in both performance and looks.

Mauell continues to seek ways to improve on our quality. This is evident by Mauell's Quality Policy posted throughout our facility, which reads:"Each Mauell Corporation Employee shares in the commitment to our valued Customers to provide them the highest quality for design, products, and service. We gauge ourselves by our Customers’ Satisfaction, our meeting the standards set forth by their requirements, specifications and contracts, and our in-house Quality Assurance program. We emphasize quality as the principal influence in everything we do. Our work to achieve our Quality Objectives is through the continuous improvement of our work processes."
